Mild flavored onions typically used as a garnish or as an aromatic in Asian dishes, can be eaten raw or cooked. Unlike other onions, scallions hold their texture when cooked. 

Quality Check

Look out for slimy bottoms! Store in a mesh or paper bag to avoid a moisture build-up.


Cut no larger than 1 inch sections, use everything but the hairy bits, when serving raw, be sure to cut finely.
