Mango

Mangoes are an incredibly sweet fruit native to southeast Asia.

Quality Check

Choose mangoes based on how to feel. They should be slightly soft when fully ripe. If they are green or too hard, let them rest on the counter for a few days to ripen. They can be left on the counter to store them but they are best eaten quickly if they are ripe.

Preparation

Mangoes are great as a snack on their own. The skin can be peeled off and you can bite into it. Be aware of the core. You can also use slices of mango in smoothies to add a very sweet taste. Mangoes go great for any desserts like a pudding or cake.
