Green Olive

Green olives are one of the oldest cultivated foods. Native to the Mediterranean region, they are healthy with great nutritional value.

Quality Check

A good green olive will be firm in texture with no bruising. Try to seek out olives that were hand-picked as other harvesting methods can damage the flavor. Olives should be stored in the fridge once opened. They should always be submerged in their liquid.


Olives make a great snack. They can be eaten straight from the jar.  Green olives go great in sub sandwiches. You can also stuff them with cheese or fry them for a different texture.
